Hello! Now, let me tell you about Chinese New Year and why it is so important.

Chinese new year is mainly celebrated by the Chinese. Sometimes, a family might go to the relative's house to pay respects to the elders. For children, they receive Hongbao(Red packets) from adults.

But from adults to adults, they give each other Mandarin oranges. Usually during Chinese New Year, people have Reunion Dinner with their families. Like for me, I am going to hold a reunion dinner in my house. My father has a brother and two sisters.

As my grandmother has 2 sons, they believe that Boys are more important than girls. My paternal grandmother stays with us. So, in order to avoid all the hassle, we have our reunion dinner in my house. My uncle and his family are he only ones that comes to our house for reunion dinner. Thus, I play with my adult cousins (20 and 24).

Usually, my grandmother cooks two servings of dishes. She will split the tables into half and put the first serving of Cod fish into the first half, and the other serving of cod fish into the second half. I love my grandmother and my mother's cooking.

I like visiting my cousins as they spend time with me on MSN and games. Chinese New Year is also not completed with new year goodies such as Love letters. When I was younger, I wore Chinese New Year costumes(Uncomfy). Now, I do not wear those as I am more mature. Besides, we cannot wear Black on Chinese New Year as it might remind one of death.

Hello! I am Clarice Ong here! Now , I am going to talk about my December Holidays last year. Nothing much because I did not travel.....

I stayed home and I went to the playground and played with the little cute babies there. When I came home, I took a quick shower and rushed over to the Desktop/Laptop which I was supposed to use. I used the Laptop and Desktop in an alternate manner. The thing that made me happy was that I could use the computer from 2pm-6pm approximately. So, I had sufficient time to spent time on the internet.

What I usually do on the Internet is check my Email, than, I proceed to my Private Blog, last but not least, I play my favourite computer game! Talking about Computer games, I used to play Maple, I was extremely addicted but I really wonder what is so interesting about it. Now, I realize the game is so boring that when I play, I will not fight monsters, but instead, act.

I play with my 3 cousins everyday during the holidays. It is so fun! But now, since school has re-opened, I can only play on Fridays, 4pm-9pm. I am happy that I have a Computer. If not, life has No meaning.
